Methamphetamine is a synthetic drug first sythesised in 1893. It has been used to treat ADHD and obesity, but is rarely prescribed due to concerns of its addictive potential and neurotoxicity. It is strongly euphoric and is widely used recreationally. The smokable form is termed "ice" or "glass".

History
The drug was used in WW2, especially by bomber pilots, to increase concentration and effectiveness at bombing. Its use caused problems of withdrawal.
