I'm a writer who is researching the modern iteration of the Stasi. Specifically, the connections between the state and domestic intelligence assets. Part of my focus leads me to military and private security contractors with connections to the DHS, FBI, and NSA. Possible CIA involvement related to rendition. Another area of interest are devices used to create discomfort at distance, chatter boxes, and weapon target tracking sensors.
