Sandy Berger admitted theft of classified documents in October 2003 from a Washington National Archives reading room prior to testifying before the 9/11 Commission.
In November 2016 it emerged that the National Archives lost a two-terabyte hard drive of data about the administration of Bill Clinton at some time between January 30, 2009 and March 24, 2009. However, a backup existed.[1]
