ACT for NIH is an American lobbying organization based in Washington D.C. It is registered as a 501(c)(4) non-profit advocacy organization, and lobbies the United States Congress to increase funding for biomedical research.[1] It additionally operates a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization called the ACT for NIH Foundation.

It was formed in 2017.[2]

ACT for NIH is a member organization of the Coalition for Health Funding.[3]

Funding

The organization does not disclose on its website who funds it. Presumably Big Pharma.

Personnel

ACT for NIH is led by Richard Turman (President), Rachel Pollock (Vice-President) and Emily Williams (Advocacy and Operations Manager).
