spooky company

Hadron, Inc. was a spooky American company that [1] merged into Qinetiq in 2007.

History

It was originally incorporated in 1964 under the name Biorad and evolved into Hadron, a US government systems consulting firm.[2] then into Analex. In 2007 it was bought by Qinetiq.[3][4]

PROMIS

"A sinister yet cunning plan was executed to place a backdoor for Israeli intelligence into the Prosecutor’s Management Information System (PROMIS) software, which was then being used by the U.S. Department of Justice and was the envy of government agencies, particularly intelligence agencies, around the world. This bugged version of PROMIS — born out of the collusion between Earl Brian, Ronald Reagan’s then-envoy to Iran, and Rafi Eitan, then-director of the now-defunct Israeli intelligence agency Lekem — was seeded around the world by Brian’s company Hadron as well as by Mossad-linked media mogul Robert Maxwell[5].

Activities

In 2002, it was reported that Hadron's subsidiary Advanced Biosystems filed nine provisional patent applications with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. These provisional patent applications cover novel treatments of anthrax and filovirus infections, a new approach for the identification of smallpox drug candidates, a medical device design with many potential uses including for cancer treatment and biodefense, and a new use of biodefense research for possible cancer treatment. The United States Army Research Command supported three of the nine patent applications. Hadron Advanced Biosystems is exploring opportunities to license its technology to, or seek a joint venture with, a partner to complete the necessary clinical trials, regulatory approvals, and the development, manufacturing, and marketing of any future products that might arise from these patents.[6]

People

Former soviet bio-warfare specialist and shady businessman Ken Alibek was president of Hadron.[1]
