The Centre d'Études Prospectives et d'Informations Internationales (CEPII) is the main French institute for research into international economics. It is part of the network coordinated by the Economic Policy Planning for the Prime Minister (France Stratégie).

History
Founded in 1978, by Prime Minister Raymond Barre, CEPII has a core team of around 30 economists. CEPII's main research area is the international economy[1].
Its creation constituted an attempt to develop the American model of think tanks in France[2].
CEPII has four main research areas are: factor markets and growth; the international financial and monetary system; EU economy; international trade models.
Leadership
The successive chief executives (Directeur) of the CEPII have been:[3]
