The United States government engages in global subterfuge of epic proportions. What does the US hope to gain by engaging in such macro subterfuge? The answer to that is globalizing the idea of US hegemony. That is, to ascertain dominance as world superpower. See [http://www.globalresearch.ca/somnolent-europe-russia-and-china-accept-us-hegemony-or-go-to-war/5523732 page] The US hierarchy will name you as a threat to national security if you are not operating within Washington's best interests. These may include the introduction of a planned economy, interference of any sort, or perhaps working against (foreign-US) corporate interests. Countries like Venezuela– possessing nearly no capability whatsoever are named grave threats to US national security. The only reason: they are not working in Washington's best interests. The US hierarchy then uses these absurd claims of national security threat to justify either military intervention or some form of proxy warfare. Thus underscoring the sovereignty of sovereign. This is why political ideologies like neoconservatism and vice versa are so dangerous.
