Robert Beckley is a British police officer. He was/is a member of the British-American Project.
Career (selection)
- Assistant Commissioner Operation Resolve. 2016 - present
Officer in overall command of Operation Resolve, the investigations into criminal culpability for the Hillsborough tragedy. His team are investigating the events and circumstances leading up to the day and the response on the day. It is not responsible for the inquiry into alleged cover-up afterwards, that is the responsibility of the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC).
