Alex Alexiev is a security analyst.
As of December 20007, Alexiev was the Vice President for Research at the Center for Security Policy. He has worked as a senior analyst for the Rand Corporation and directed many research projects. His present research focuses on issues related to Islamic extremism and "terrorism".[1]
