Good stuff on Fred Lee Crisman - Thanks. I'll clean up the 'no ref tag errors and a few reference issues. If you check it out when I've done you'll see the formatting changes but briefly, the 'Cite error' refers to the 'cite' extension, It's installed but needs an additional closed tag in a section where citations are to be listed.

If you need to upload files in the future, try using the 'Regular file upload' menu option. That puts them straight into MediaWiki, whereas using the anonymous uploads page requires me to go through a bit of procedure to integrate them. I've tweeked the article a bit - just layout - done an intro to the uploaded file and linked to it.

Fred Lee Crisman

Good stuff on Fred Lee Crisman - Thanks. I'll clean up the 'no ref tag errors and a few reference issues. If you check it out when I've done you'll see the formatting changes but briefly, the 'Cite error' refers to the 'cite' extension, It's installed but needs an additional closed tag in a section where citations are to be listed.

All I need not is about 20 others to do a bit of article creation and we'll get this thing flying.~

OK, I think I got the ((cite tag stuff rooted out for now. This is a carcass/skeleton of course, just to get stuff happening hopefully. :)Hr 17:02, 30 May 2010 (IST)

Thanks for the Zap Gun review too. As you can see I'm still struggling a bit with categorising things properly/intuitively. I've also got 'Sematic Media Wiki' installed which has serious indexing/cataloging/cross-referencing potential - just haven't had the time yet. Also don't worry too much about formatting categorising etc (though the Zap-Gun layout is spot on). I'll sort out any minor issues there.

Thanks for that hr - I'm still ploughing a bit of a lonely furrow here right now but traffic is increasing steadily.

The article on Dreyfus went completely down the memory-hole, I got an Access to /w Forbidden message and couldn't recover the text, etc. etc. Thanks, will do regular media upload in future as soon as I figure out how. I have had similar 'Access forbidden' problems. Finally tracked it down to the server security software I installed recently (Mod_Security). It is a complex piece of kit that analyses all post requests for attempts at hacking and there are hundreds of rules it applies, some of which catch valid stuff. I need to know when such things occur so that rule exceptions can be installed.
just getting to wikispooks is a chore. I go to the .org address, wait a while, close the browser, open a new browser window and use the .com address and then wait for the security certificate warning, which I then approve, and then things begin to happen.
