:::Done, have reduced what seemed obvious. It was 52 or so articles with the subject Syria, should be closer to 40 now. There is still much with subject Syria that would be better sorted with "2011 Syrian Insurgency" / or to be created "regime change operation 2011-2024". Somebody has to decide what to develop .. 2011 Syrian Insurgency + civil  war + regime change .. or new article.. -- [[User:Sunvalley|Sunvalley]] ([[User talk:Sunvalley|talk]]) 22:04, 27 December 2024 (UTC)

So many documents at the end

A page split is just one way to tackle the number of documents. Picking a random document I found a 900 word article with some 24 subjects and only a single mention of Syria! Subjects are for what an article is actually about, rather than a list of keywords it mentions. So, maybe the problem could be ameliorated just by removing superfluous subjects. -- Robin (talk) 03:21, 13 September 2016 (IST)

Might be good to go through the articles and adjust. -- Sunvalley (talk) 04:56, 26 December 2024 (UTC)
A possible solution would be to make the regime change operation 2011-2024 into a separate article, and adjust the document subjects accordingly.

Terje (talk) 05:40, 26 December 2024 (UTC)

I remember that there was a remark (by Robin) about too many subjects per article, not sure if this was here or elsewhere. This article for example -> [1] can do with just: COVID-19/Lockdown, Immigration, Open borders -- imo. So reduce subjects and see if it gets better first? (have looked at some, not all, so not sure what is more feasible) -- Sunvalley (talk) 02:40, 27 December 2024 (UTC)
Will go through it and see if subject Syria (and more) can be removed. -- Sunvalley (talk) 21:06, 27 December 2024 (UTC)
There is 2011 Syrian Insurgency already, when I see that and Syria, then will remove Syria from subject. -- Sunvalley (talk) 21:15, 27 December 2024 (UTC)
Done, have reduced what seemed obvious. -- Sunvalley (talk) 22:04, 27 December 2024 (UTC)
