:Simple use of that property using the Document (and other) forms would be a major enhancement. I guess we need to work on producing a definitive list of properties suitable for inclusion. It may also be best to make them sub-properties of 'key properties' because it is doubtful that existing system properties would need to be used through such a form field; neither would most (any??) non-page-type properties. I'm thinking of obvious things like 'killed by', 'caused by', 'instigated by' 'planned by', 'was patsie for', 'was convicted of' etc - many more are likely to present themselves whilst authoring/editing pages. --[[User:Peter|Peter P]] ([[User talk:Peter|talk]]) 10:44, 28 December 2013 (GMT) | :Simple use of that property using the Document (and other) forms would be a major enhancement. The idea...
The idea of Property:Has keyProperties is to allow this template to show more flexible details that just the fixed set which it does now (which is fine for Documents, but not much good for other pages, which will have other SMW properties. Two technical challenges need to be overcome:
- Processing a comma separated list (optional in fact, but I think this is preferable to having separate parameters for each item)
- Varying the query to override the default and show those columns reflected by Property:Has keyProperties
