John Michael Moten is an Australian aeronautical engineer.
Background
John Moten was the son of Brigadier Murray Moten, a senior Australian Army officer.[1]
Career
ASIO/Director-General of Security from 1988-1992. He retired ealy, 3 years into his five year term. He never stated the reason for his early retirement.[2]
