James Brown Scott, a disciple of Elihu Root, was an important figure in the development of US law. He built on the ideas of Francisco de Vitoria.
Activities
James Brown Scott was the solicitor of the US Department Of State. He was president of Thw American Society of International Law from 1929-1939.
