A Virtual Private Network (VPN) allows encrypted communication between remote locations. Connections that use both, VPN and TOR, offer in some cases better privacy.[1][2]

ProtonVPN
A bit overpriced with their short term subscriptions [3] and while advertising themselves as privacy focused company, there have been concerns with their e-mail service in the past.
VPN book
Offers free connections (without registering) through OpenVPN.[4] The rule: "If something is free, ‘you’ are the product" may apply.
Mullvad
Accepts payment via mail in several currencies.[5]
