The 3 anti-Corbynites: Iain McNicol, Gareth Snell and Ruth Smeeth at the 2017 Stoke Central by-election | |
Alma mater | Keele University |
Gareth Snell is the Blairite Labour Party candidate at the 2017 Stoke Central by-election.[1] Despite the best efforts of anti-Corbynite Labour Party General Secretary Iain McNicol and Israel apologist Ruth Smeeth, Gary Snell was unexpectedly elected to succeed Tristram Hunt because the pro-Corbyn Momentum movement drafted in hundreds of dedicated campaigners to get the Labour vote out.[2]
Both Gareth Snell and Ruth Smeeth lost their seats to the Conservatives in the UK/2019 General Election.[3]
