+ | Hi Richard, welcome to Wikispooks. Having read your brief intro I thought I'd let you know a few observations about how society relates to kids here in Bangladesh. Compared to UK culture, there is much less awareness/fear/paranoia about child abuse (though I'm expecting it to rise as effort is being expended in that direction, just one aspect of a huge 'development' initiative). People strike me as a lot more natural in relating to children - e.g. in restaraunts, waiters feel free to pick up and play with kids etc. In the home, it is normal for the whole family to share a single bed, and Bangladeshis view it as weird that anyone might let their baby sleep alone - only one aspect of a general ethos of ''self''- rather than ''system''-reliance. | ||

+ | Hi Robin! Sounds like we're on the same page wrt community and extended family being the normal child raising environment. The destruction of the family wouldn't be possible or selected for without state infrastructures that facilitate it, which provide the physical necessities children need for survival without the emotional support that would complete the "self". The co-dependent, sociopathic and neurotic people that it creates feed back into and supports those same institutions, creating a feedback loop which is self-organizing into totalitarianism. A social phase change from distributed loosely knit autonomous communities into a mass misery machine. I think the foundation of the NWO is the result of centuries of intergenerational patterns of unconscious child abuse which correlates with socioeconomic status. (i.e. the poor tend to be saner than the rich) There's actually a lot of research out there which is relevant to this issue, as I'm sure you know. Bangladesh Experience
Hi Richard, welcome to Wikispooks. In the home, it is normal for the whole family to share a single bed, and Bangladeshis view it as weird that anyone might let their baby sleep alone - only one aspect of a general ethos of self- rather than system-reliance.
