Milleis Private Bank (Milleis Banque Privée) is a French private bank that arrived on the market in 2018 after the takeover on 1 September 2017 by the European investment fund AnaCap, of the activities of Barclays France.

History

Milleis Banque Privée is from the French branch of Barclays, which has been based in the country since 1917. While offering the traditional services of a retail bank, Barclays France is historically specialised in the management of the assets of a wealthy clientele.

In 1992, Barclays Bank acquired L’Européenne de Banque before acquiring ING Ferri and ING Private Banking in 2005.

In 2017, AnaCap Financial Partners, an investment fund specialising in the European financial sector, acquired Barclays France, which then became a fully-fledged bank under French law and took the name of Milleis Bank in 2018.

In 2022, Milleis Banque became Milleis Banque Privée.

In February 2023, Milleis bought the private bank Cholet-Dupont Oudart.

Zelensky takeover

On 7 March 2025 Zlatti 71 posted on X:

While Macron was talking about his “most effective army in Europe,” French media released an investigation into Zelensky.
It turns out that through his offshore company Maltex Multicapital Corp, Zelensky acquired one of the largest private investment banks in France – Milleis Banque. The deal is estimated at 1.1 – 1.25 billion euros. The deal was reportedly managed by Rothschild & Co – an investment company owned by the Rothschild family. It was in this company that Macron worked from 2008 to 2012.[1]
The purchase took place in early February 2025, just as White House insiders were reporting that “Zelensky had better leave for France immediately,” according to the New York Post.[2]
