The 1974 planned Golpe Bianco (English:White Coup) was a planned coup attempt in Italy, similar to the 1970 Borghese Coup.
The project had as its main promoters Edgardo Sogno and Randolfo Pacciardi and was discovered by magistrate Luciano Violante, but it was never implemented (or at least played down), nor was anyone ever convicted for it.
