A psychic is a person that is sensitive to the parapsychological forces of the nonphysical realm.[1]

A psychic is a person who says to have extrasensory perception (ESP) to identify information hidden from the normal senses, particularly involving telepathy or clairvoyance, or who performs acts that are apparently inexplicable by natural laws.

Many people believe in psychic abilities, the scientific consensus, however, is that there is no proof of the existence of such powers.

Psychics are at times employed in the US by the police to help with criminal cases.[2][3][4]

In popular culture

Psychics often feature in the movies and series, like the X-Files.
