I am retired from the US Foreign Service, having spent most of my adult life living and working overseas. I spent some 30 years in the Foreign Service traveling abroad with 3 cats in tow. I never served in a country where pets were required to be quarentined. Most countries require that pets have rabies vaccine, and somdtimes a certificate from a veterinarian that the animal is in good heath is also required.
