This is mostly from Wikipedia. If someone should care to expand on his biography in the future, there are a few points I find conspicuous:

1. The story from Iraq sounds contrived and not like the full story.

2. He has worked in lot of geopolitical interesting conflict zones, including Congo, Syria and Iraq.

3. In 2007, the CIA used a vaccine program in Pakistan as a cover to allegedly track down bin Laden. Ryan worked with vaccine programs in Pakistan a few years later (2011-2017).

If you want to look even further, I wrote a piece last year where I speculated that when Trump in 2019 threatened to kill 10 million Afghans in 10 days without using nuclear weapons, it was a tacit threat of using a pre-deployed biological agent (triggered by a second biological agent?). I further speculated that such a pre-deployment only could have put in place with vaccines, with some similarities to the South African program in the 1980s.

3.He has worked with Bill Gates Foundation on several occasions, noticeably downplayed in the Wikipedia bio.
