Sir John Ramsden, Bt has been appointed Her Majesty's Ambassador to the Republic of Croatia in succession to Mr Nicholas Jarrold, who will be transferring to another Diplomatic Service appointment. Sir John Ramsden will take up his new appointment in February 2004.
