The Hunger Games is a film series with a story set in a dystopic future. According to Rosa Koire, these films are an apt interpretation of the future if Agenda 21 were come to pass (not necessarily with the Hunger Games itself, but in the depiction of a slave like, impoverished countryside for the extraction/creation of raw materials, and a technologically far advanced, wealthy Capitol).[1]
