Abu Elias is the nom de guerre of the nephew of Ahmed Jibril, founder and leader of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine–General Command.[1]
Identified originally as Khaisar Haddad[2] and in 2009 as Basel Bushnaq,[3] Abu Elias is accused of constructing and planting the IED that destroyed Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie in Scotland on 21 December 1988.[4]
