The 2024 Kingswood by-election was held on 15 February 2024 following the resignation of Tory MP Chris Skidmore.[1]

Damien Egan of the Labour Party won with 11,176 votes, to 8,675 for his nearest rival, the Conservatives’ Sam Bromiley, a majority of 2,501 and a 16% swing. The turnout was 37.1%.[2]

The Kingswood by-election took place on the same day as the 2024 Wellingborough by-election, also won by Labour from the Conservatives.
