Bob Schieffer remembers:
“While there, we were joined by some Secret Service agents from Kennedy’s detail. They
were off-duty, but they wanted to go. They weren’t drinking. But we managed to see the dawn come up and see the sun rise in Fort Worth before we left the place.” PKHBS
Lee Harvey Oswald has been awake most of the night, not able to sleep, finally dozing off about this time. Marina avoided him last night - soaking in a bath for an hour before coming to bed.
