African-American economist who attended the 1972 Bilderberg as a member of the Federal Reserve Board of Governors

Andrew Felton Brimmer was an American economist and business leader who served as a member of the Federal Reserve Board of Governors from 1966 to 1974. He attended the 1972 Bilderberg meeting.


MIT Center for International Studies

In the early 1950s, Brimmer worked at the Center for International Studies was based at MIT. The center was started with money from the CIA, something Brimmer said he learned ten years later. At the Center he was a research assistant doing economic analysis, working on Indian enterprise and development.[1]
