Vyacheslav Taran was a Russian businessman involved with cryptocurrency who died in a helicopter crash in late 2022. His death is one in a string of deaths of people who were involved with cryptocurrency;[1] also being one of a number of Russian businessman who died since 2022.
Death
Taran died in a helicopter crash in France, en route from Lausanne when the helicopter hit a French hillside overlooking the Mediterranean at Villefranche-sur-Mer as it was making its approach to the Monaco heliport [2] in modern Airbus H130,[3] with an experienced pilot in good weather [4] who was familiar with the area; the H130 a multimillion-dollar touring aircraft considered to be top-of-the-line around the world.[5]
