What does "The global control grid (GCG) has been a fantasy of megalomaniacs since the fall of the flat earth theory." mean? Does it mean since the time people stopped believing in a flat earth, global control was on the wish-list of megalomaniacs.
If so, there might be the wrong idea about what people back then believed about earth: "Not only did most educated people in the Middle Ages know the Earth was round, but this knowledge also had been common among scholars since antiquity.".[1] What people in Europe back then believed about the planet, that was actually wrong, is that it is the center of the universe. -- NewYork (talk) 00:53, 17 March 2026 (UTC)
