Western Imperialism and White Supremacy have a lot to answer for
When we look at the genocide and deliberate destruction of Palestine, the sabotage of development and the Palestinian people’s simple aspiration for the recognition of their sovereignty and peace and prosperity, we should always consider the people of the Congo, Sudan, Haiti, Cuba…
We should always reflect on the destruction and slaughter of the people of Afghanistan, Iraq, Somalia, Yemen, Lebanon, Libya, Iran, Syria… and what we were taught about these nations. How they were presented as aggressors, belligerents, threats to humanity and civilisation, terrorists or supporters of terrorism and how they threatened the Western way of life or US national security.
Think about the wars, the destruction, and the amount of bombs that were dropped on Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos in the 1960s and 1970s… the death squads trained by the United States government in El Salvador, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Honduras… of the 1980s. The overthrow or assassination of democratically elected governments from Mohammad Mossadegh of Iran in 1953, Patrice Lumumba of the Congo in 1961, Kwame Nkrumah of Ghana in 1966, Salvador Allende of Chile in 1973, to Mohamed Morsi of Egypt in 2013 and Jovenel Moïse of Haiti in 2021.
Think about the terms “regime change”, “collateral damage” and the invasion of Iraq, the execution of Saddam Hussein and turning a nation that once boasted of being a cradle of civilisation, with one of the most highly educated populations and sophisticated societies in the Middle East into a basket case. The bombing of Libya back to the Stone Age and the sodomisation and murder of its leader Muammar Gaddafi, a nation which had the fastest growing GDP in Africa and provided its citizens with free healthcare, free electricity, subsidised social housing and unemployment benefit.
Think about the tens of millions of innocent non-white civilians that have been murdered over the years, their countries destabilised and kept in a perpetual state of underdevelopment by Western imperialism and White Supremacy - solely to make them more pliable and conducive to Western exploitation.
Palestine is not new and nor is it alone. It is simply the principal focus of the day - one of a long list of nations that have been brutalised as part of a land grab by White Supremacists. From being savages to communists to terrorists - they have always found a way to control the narrative and language in order to dehumanise us, to criminalise our struggles and to legitimise their greed, tyranny and sense of entitlement. It is part of a pattern where non-compliant Black and Brown nations have been presented as threats and demonised by Western nations in order for lands to be colonised and resources plundered - all overseen and rubber stamped by the so-called “International Community” which is nothing more than a euphemism for the same old White Western boys club, supported by the IMF, World Bank and other institutions that they founded, legitimised by awards that they created and defended by NATO, their collective enforcers - a private militia that they brought together as an alliance to impose their will by sheer brute force - and which circumvents the authority of the United Nations.
The United States was founded on the slaughter of its native people after the broadcast of European propaganda that they were fighting savages. Much of Africa suffered the same fate - as did the Caribbean, Asia, the Middle East and the indigenous people of Australia and New Zealand. Lest we forget the genocide perpetrated by the British against the people of Tasmania. They successfully slaughtered every Tasmanian to the point that there is not one surviving indigenous Tasmanian today.
Savages was what they called us back then, but today they call us terrorists. Any study of those words and the history of Western imperialism will expose who the real savages and terrorists are - facts of which are never presented or articulated by the Western mainstream media - who are collectively afflicted with selective amnesia.

While we are taught in European schools that the Nazis were evil because they invaded their neighbours and acquired territory by conquest, we should not forget that Hitler had modelled Germany on the British Empire.
The concept of the concentration camp adopted by the Nazis was developed by the British in South Africa as internment camps with the idea being to concentrate the civilian population during the Boer War. It is often linked to Lord Baden-Powell, the founder of the Boy Scouts. However, modern historians have sought to distance him and the British Establishment from the concentration camps' ignoble past.
The Nazi eugenics programme was inspired by the work of Sir Francis Galton from University College London.
The Nazis are hated because they lost the war and didn’t get the final say in how the history would be written - but the victors were no better. They simply airbrushed their crimes away and left the Nazis holding the bag!
