Buckinghamshire is a ceremonial county in South East England.

Rothschilds

The Rothschild family had begun to acquire vast tracts of land in Buckinghamshire in the 19th century, on which they built a series of large mansions from 1852 onwards.

Peter Mandelson opined to Jeffrey Epstein even in 2009 that the "Rothschilds seem to own large part of Bucks".[1]

  • Waddesdon Manor. Owned by the National Trust and managed by the Rothschild Foundation, it is one of the National Trust's most visited properties.
  • Cliveden House, the stately home in Buckinghamshire of Nancy Astor and for which is named the Cliveden Set, a deep state faction which supported "appeasing" Adolf Hitler in the 1930s.
  • West Wycombe Park, An 18th-century Palladian mansion set in a perfectly landscaped park, built by Sir Francis Dashwood, founder of the notorious Hellfire Club.
  • Hughenden Manor, the Victorian country home of the former Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli.
  • Turville Park, owned by David Sainsbury. When he was made a life peer in 1997, he chose the title Baron Sainsbury of Turville, of Turville in the County of Buckinghamshire.
