After speaking on a panel about Prospects For Global Trade at the 1993 Bilderberg, Arthur Dunkel was replaced by Peter Sutherland, who had moderated the panel.

At the 1993 Bilderberg, Arthur Dunkel was a panelist with Lane Kirkland on Prospects For Global Trade. The moderator of the discussion was Peter Sutherland, who took over the post of DG from Arthur Dunkel some ten weeks later.
