On 8 July 2022, former Japanese PM Shinzō Abe was shot point-blank with a shotgun by a Japanese navy veteran. Abe became the sixth former Japanese PM to be assassinated.
The Georgia Guidestones were a granite monument erected in 1980 promoting eugenics, depopulation and increased social control. They bombed at around 4am on 6 July 2022, completely pulverizing one of the pillars. The entire monument was demolished later the same day.

14 years ago this month, a massive British "tell on your quiet neighbour" campaign was started to combat "terrorism". Over 1000 people responded to a later banned ad that said you should report a quiet neighbour for "closing the curtains all day and preferring cash to debit cards".
7 years ago, the previous migrant crisis began for Europe. Mass rapes, several "terrorist" attacks in France killing over 140 people, and the rise of anti immigration sentiment resulted in permanent geopolitical changes such as Brexit.
