Front page

This open conspiracy is quite stunning, it should be on the front page... -- Terje

The front page auto-updates with the most recently edited articles, so it'll stay there as long as the page receives regular edits:-) -- Robin (talk) 15:10, 27 June 2020 (UTC)
I though some were pinned there. Incidentally, I have some suggestions for changes to the Main Page.Terje (talk) 23:28, 27 June 2020 (UTC)---
Currently, there is no pinning, although that might not be too hard. There is a rating system, which is why a certain few pages are always at the top of the 'rated' tab. See here for main page ideas. -- Robin (talk) 16:24, 28 June 2020 (UTC)

Quote edit

Terje there is the quote from Ben Delo ('We' need to work together) which I now have read on the givingpledge.org page. Curiously the text is not getting archived well. My reading is that he talks about humanity at a crossroads, given nuclear potential for destruction etc. So the 'we' can be understood wider, while at the same time his peers remain the other billionaires and NGO folks that cater to them and their beliefs. To give some more context I would put something in from the paragraph above so these words are put in perspective if you dont mind(?). -- Sunvalley (talk) 21:55, 17 November 2020 (UTC)

Please go ahead - your clarification adds to the article.

I feel Delo is talking more to his peers, no word of democratic input in his letter + last sentence "I thank Bill and Melinda Gates and Warren Buffett for creating this important initiative."

and maybe he is getting nudged in certain directions by his new friends, his vision reminds me a bit of The Great Reset/Fourth Industrial Revolution plans being implemented as we speak.

Btw, part of Ben Delo's Giving Pledge money from 2019 is presciently going to "biosecurity and pandemic preparedness"[1], Terje (talk) 00:22, 18 November 2020 (UTC)---

Hi. When I read it again now, I am not so sure anymore ... the text may be streamlined in a specific way and I don't pic up the fine-tuning of it easily. Certainly this is more a message to his fellow donors and people of wealth than it is to the rest. And sure he gets evaluated and then put in a direction in which it is possible to get the most out of him. But on the surface again, he says: "Nuclear security cannot be taken for granted." and then: "And Put simply, we’ve never been in this position before: with the power to destroy the future, but not necessarily the wisdom to wield that power responsibly." / I will think about it some more. -- Sunvalley (talk) 02:52, 18 November 2020 (UTC)
