Paul Nuttall (born 30 November 1976, Liverpool) is an MEP for North West from UKIP. Despite the best efforts of anti-Corbynite Labour Party General Secretary Iain McNicol and Israel apologist Ruth Smeeth, Gary Snell was unexpectedly elected to succeed Tristram Hunt at the 2017 Stoke Central by-election because the pro-Corbyn Momentum movement drafted in hundreds of dedicated campaigners to get the Labour vote out.[1][2]
