A US congressman whose small plane disappeared without trace in Alaska, together with Hale Boggs and two other men.

Nick Begich was a US congressman presumed dead after vanishing in Alaska.

Death?

On October 16, 1972, he and House Majority Leader Hale Boggs (a prominent critic of the JFK Assassination official narrative), were two of the four men on board a twin engine Cessna 310 when the plane disappeared during a flight from Anchorage to Juneau. Also on board were Begich's aide, Russell Brown, and the pilot, Don Jonz.[1] The four were heading to a campaign fundraiser for Begich. All four were presumed to have died in the crash of a light aircraft in Alaska in 1972; their bodies were never found.
