Kelly Dawn Craft [1] is an American businesswoman, political donor, "philanthropist", and former diplomat who was the United States ambassador to the United Nations from 2019 to 2021. Craft was previously the United States ambassador to Canada from 2017 to 2019. She earlier was appointed by President George W. Bush as a US alternate delegate to the United Nations in 2007, where her focus included US engagement in Africa. Craft serves on the advisory board of the Canadian American Business Council[2] and heads Kelly G. Knight LLC, a business advisory firm based in Lexington, Kentucky.

She was confirmed as the US ambassador to the United Nations by the US Senate by a vote of 56–34, and was officially sworn in in September 2019. Craft formally presented her credentials to UN Secretary-General António Guterres on September 12, 2019.

In 2016, she married Joe Craft, the third-largest coal producer in the eastern United States.
