Kathleen Sebelius is an American businesswoman and politician who was made 21st United States Secretary of Health and Human Services from 2009 until 2014. Before becoming secretary, she was made governor of Kansas from 2003 to 2009. She is a member of the Democratic Party. Sebelius was the Democratic respondent to the 2008 State of the Union address[1] and is chair-emerita of the Democratic Governors Association.[2] She is CEO of Sebelius Resources LLC, which provides strategic advice to private companies.
Career
Kathleen Sebelius said she “always flew commercially” on her trips overseas, which Breitbart News stated in 2017 was contradicted by documents.[3]
Covid-19

In July 2021, Sebelius threatened that Americans who have not received a coronavirus vaccine should not be allowed to work or have access to children and be limited on where they are allowed to go: "we have folks who are just saying I won’t do it. I think that it’s time to say to those folks, it’s fine if you don’t choose to get vaccinated. You may not come to work. You may not have access to a situation where you’re going to put my grandchildren in jeopardy."[4]
She is on the board of the Kaiser Family Foundation.
