John Dutton is a member of the Executive Committee for the World Economic Forum (WEF). He was previously Head of the Forum Foundations and prior to that as the Head of the WEF's Forum of Young Global Leaders (YGLs). The YGLs include "the world’s most pioneering, next-generation leaders who have developed in their journey to produce positive, tangible impacts in their countries, industries and societies".[1]

He has a remarkably blank CV for someone in such a prominent position.

Career

He is head of the WEF's UpLink, a digital crowd-engagement platform, "created to foster mass participation to meet the United Nation’s 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in their 2030 Agenda." Its goal is "to link-up the best SDG innovators to a growing network of experts and decision-makers who can implement the change needed for the next decade." The platform is a partnership with 3 of the biggest corporations in the world, Deloitte, Microsoft and Salesforce. [2]

Before that, he was a Small Funds Initiative Coordinator for the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment; has also spent several years as a French Teacher at the Trinity Pawling School in New York.[3]
