InterestsTWA Flight 800

James Keith Kallstrom [1] a.k.a. Jim Kallstrom, was an American Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) agent who served as assistant director in charge of its field office in New York. He was noted for heading the criminal investigation into the TWA Flight 800 crash in 1996.

The TWA Flight 800 investigation was a cover-up of a US navy missile shooting down a commercial airline outside Long Island. His official report said the cause for the crash was a random spark igniting one of the gas tanks.

Kallstrom left the public sector for private sector employment in the financial industry beginning in 1998.[2] After the September 11 attacks, he returned to the public sector to lead New York state's public safety office at the behest of George Pataki.[3]

Later Life

He supported Donald Trump, calling Hillary Clinton part of a "crime family".[4] He criticised the Mueller Report.

He believed there's a “Fifth Column" running the FBI.

He died in July 2021.
