Ismail al-Abedi is the eldest son of Ramadan al-Abedi and the older brother of Manchester Arena suicide bomber Salman al-Abedi.[1]

Ismail al-Abedi was arrested on 23 May 2017 by Greater Manchester Police officers[2] but was released a fortnight later without charge.[3]
