Electronic ID program that uses generalized vaccination as a platform for digital identity

ID2020, also known as the Digital Identity Alliance is push for a digital identification for every person in the world, which will "will stay with you for life".. Its essential features are that it is unremovable (i.e. a passport can be thrown away by its 'owner') and that it is connected to a worldwide central computer system and database. The founding partners are GAVI, the Vaccine Alliance (Bill Gates funded), Microsoft (Bill Gates), the Rockefeller Foundation, and IDEO, a international design and consulting firm which works for transnational pharmaceutical corporations and technology firms..

The creation of this unremovable ID is a central pillar in the introduction of the vaccine passport project.

Official Rationale

"The ability to prove who you are is a fundamental and universal human right. Because we live in a digital era, we need a trusted and reliable way to do that both in the physical world and online. Over 1 billion people worldwide are unable to prove their identity through any recognized means. As such, they are without the protection of law, and are unable to access basic services, participate as a citizen or voter, or transact in the modern economy"...

The official rationale does not mention the very real plans for being registered and denied these services by the government acting on behalf of the supranational deep state.

Some of the corporations participating in the planning of this ID include Accenture, Microsoft, Avanade Inc, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Cisco Systems.

Problems

The European Commission is involved in a crucial but virtually unknown project, CREMA (Cloud Based Rapid Elastic Manufacturing) which aims to facilitate a cashless One-World system. Essentially, ID2020 is "an electronic ID platform based on generalized vaccination. And its starts at birth; newborns will be provided with a portable and persistent biometrically-linked digital identity." Involved seems to be GAVI, a lobby for global vaccination.

Pepe Escobar linked the summit to Event 201, noting: “At the ID2020 Alliance summit last September [2019] in New York, it was decided that the “Rising to the Good ID Challenge” program would be launched in 2020.”

Generally, if private business is managing state executive functions there is concern of a lack of control of the controllers.

Possible implications

2018 Article on Windows Central

An article published in February 2018 on Windows Central introduced the "ID2020 Alliance" concept. The aspects the article focused on are becoming legislation which is forced on populations worldwide. Questions the article asked:

• If the Alliance's goal is a globally recognized digital identity for everyone from birth to death, will that become a global mandate? How will it be enforced and by whom?
• What happens to those individuals who are unwilling to participate? Will they be persecuted?
• And how will the implementation of identification evolve with technology beyond smartphones? Will wearables, implant's like those being used in Swedish subways or some form of digital tattoo become the norm?

In conclusion the article notes:

As more and more transactions become digital in nature and are built around a single global identification standard, supported by Microsoft, the question of who will govern this evolving global community and economy becomes relevant. Especially since nonparticipants in this system would be unable to buy or sell goods or services.

Coincidence with COVID-19

Criticism

Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano in a letter to president Trump warns that ‘forces of evil’ are plotting to execute a ‘Great Reset’:

“Beyond the enormous economic interests that motivate the promoters of the Great Reset, the imposition of the vaccination will be accompanied by the requirement of a health passport and a digital ID, with the consequent contact tracing of the population of the entire world. Those who do not accept these measures will be confined in detention camps or placed under house arrest, and all their assets will be confiscated.”

"Their digital identity program will be tested with the government of Bangladesh"

Anir Chowdhury, policy advisor of the Bangladesh government program, framed the initiative: “We are implementing a forward-looking approach to digital identity that gives individuals control over their own personal information (...) The Government of Bangladesh recognizes that the design of digital identity systems carries far-reaching implications for individuals’ access to services and livelihoods, and we are eager to pioneer this approach.”

The ID2020 Alliance at their 2019 Summit, entitled Rising to the Good ID Challenge, in September 2019 in New York, decided to roll out their program in 2020, a decision confirmed by the World Economic Forum in January 2020 in Davos. Their digital identity program will be tested with the government of Bangladesh. GAVI, the Vaccine Alliance, and “partners from academia and humanitarian relief” (as they call it), are part of the pioneer party.

Since September 2019, the Digital Identity Alliance has been cooperating with the government of Bangladesh to introduce digital identities. This involves combining vaccinations with the recording of biometric data, such as fingerprints, to enable digital identification of the respective person.

By February 2020, 100 million digital identities had been created, as the responsible minister reported in an article for the World Economic Forum. This collection is marketed as “digital inclusion”, supposedly to include disadvantaged people in the benefits of the modern world.

Bill Gates

Bill Gates has made it clear that he has plans to use COVID-19 to promote the idea of "digital certificates", as per ID2020's agenda:

“We don’t want to have a lot of recovered people... To be clear, we’re trying – through the shut-down in the United States – to not get to one percent of the population infected. We’re well below that today, but with exponentiation, you could get past that three million [people or approximately one percent of the U.S. population being infected with COVID-19 and the vast majority recovering]. Eventually what we’ll have to have is certificates of who’s a recovered person, who’s a vaccinated person... Because you don’t want people moving around the world where you’ll have some countries that won’t have it under control, sadly. You don’t want to completely block off the ability for people to go there and come back and move around. So eventually there will be this digital immunity proof that will help facilitate the global reopening up.”

Financing

The founding partners are GAVI, the Vaccine Alliance (Bill Gates funded), Microsoft (Bill Gates), the Rockefeller Foundation, one of the oldest and wealthiest foundations in the USA, and IDEO, a international design and consulting firm, including for transnational pharmaceutical corporations and technology firms.

Another of the founding partners is the global management consulting and professional services firm Accenture, which does brisk business with the German Armed Forces ('a diamond client'). The sum the Bundeswehr spent with Accenture on consulting services went from 1 million euros in 2014 to around 20 million euros in 2018.

The group's PR is conducted by Copperfield Advisory, a boutique "strategic communications" advisory firm, and its legal services are provided by Chapman and Cutler LLP.
