Sir Hew Francis Anthony Strachan is a UK military historian. He was one of three advisors of the Institute for Statecraft listed on their website until they took it down in 2019.[1]

Activities

In 2017, Strachan co-signed An Open Letter On Defence with Chris Donnelly.[2]

An open letter the BBC published from a group of academics and military men written to the UK Prime Minister highlighting "global threats", warning that "security is threatened in almost every corner of the globe" and that decreased military expenditure would "damage our international credibility".
