The Board of Governors has three members. The Chairman of the Board of Governors is Governor by Royal Appointment. The two other Governors are appointed by the Board of Directors.

The Board of Governors is charged with the day-to-day management and the governors distribute the fields of responsibility among themselves. The Board of Governors holds sole responsibility for the formulation and ongoing adjustment of monetary policy.[1]
