Diazepam is a drug of the benzodiazepine class. It was first marketed under the Band name 'Valium'.
Suicide bid?
In 1987, Robert McFarlane reportedly attempted suicide from an overdose of diazepam after the "Iran-Contra" affair was reported by commercially-controlled media.[1]
