"If the original Clermont set were defined by one quality, it was a reckless taste for taking risks."

The Clermont Set was a group which met at the Clermont Club (founded in 1960 by John Aspinall). Gambling and womanising were common pastimes of its members. "If the original Clermont set were defined by one quality, it was a reckless taste for taking risks."[1]

Exposure

Adam Curtis mentioned the group in his film The Mayfair Set.
