Charles Keating was maybe the highest profile player who was jailed for his part in the Savings and loan fraud.

After buying Lincoln Savings, Keating fired the leadership.

He was jailed for the multi-billion dollar fraud.

Later investigation

Mark Lombardi made a diagram centered on Keating.

Connections

His grandson, Charles Keating IV, was reported killed by ISIS in May 2016.[1]
