Barbara Joan Estelle Amiel, Baroness Black of Crossharbour DSS is a British-Canadian "conservative" journalist, writer, and socialite. Of Jewish heritage, Amiel's journalism became known for her "ferocious defence of Israel".[1]
After befriending the deep state actor George Weidenfeld, she managed to marry media tycoon Conrad Black in 1992.[2] She accompanied Black to the 1993 Bilderberg conference.
