Australian MP and terror expert
Dr Anne Aly is an Egyptian-born Australian MP and "terror expert". She was the first female Muslim parliamentarian.
She supports blasphemy laws and expanding "hate crime" laws to tackle "extremism".
She claimed that Novak Djokovic gave momentum to the Australian "anti-vaxxer" movement.
In 2022 she was appointed to the government by new Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.
